CNN X Files

Ignorance and arrogance. Living together. In sin....

I don’t know where to begin in this matter. I guess I’ve become ‘insensitive’ to the fact that all too many people look at targeting the President of the United States for ‘assassination’. We’ve had so many examples of it with sniper sight-reticles superimposed on the president. Wishful-thinking, help-wanted ads on the internet for snipers, posing as Wanted Dead posters from the old West. Now we have THIS....

It’s not effective enough to call for people to kill the president? So, now they resort X-ing out the vice-president during the course of a speech.

This all may seem very funny to some people. But I’m curious as to how they would react if there were a different person being X’d out; perhaps Senator Hillary Clinton. Not to forget sniper reticles superimposed on her face and requests for someone to start stalking her.

According to CNN officials, and their talking heads, the X-ing was a ‘computer foul-up’. However, when I asked the Public Relations puke at CNN they could not explain why this was the first ever incident noticed and reported in all time most people can remember.

Then there is THIS report....[I’ll wait....]

If this report is accurate, then CNN is going to go the way of CBS, vis-a-vis Dan Rather. And, personally, I think this is a good thing.

As anyone who knows me is aware, I gave up on television a LONG time ago. CNN, if this report is correct, is just hurrying along its way down the proverbial slippery slope.
